Bear Creek Ranch Hunting Lodge sits on 278 acres of farm and prime wooded land with a creek running through. There are also two ample sized ponds; one of which was stocked in 2006 with walleye, hybrid blue-gill, smallmouth bass, and catfish. The other pond is overrun with largemouth bass.
The land has produced good hunting returns; 2nd in state for wild turkey harvest (partly because #1 Texas County has the largest sq. mi. in the state.) Whitetail deer harvest has also produced some outstanding wall-hangers.
The Hunting Lodge was just completed in late 2006 and is 3,000 sq. ft with three bedrooms, two full baths, a two story great room with many trophies and a natural floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, a modern kitchen with all the amenities including: stainless steel appliances and a walkout deck. Other amenities include: central air and satellite TV.
The Hunting Lodge presents itself as a fully functional and well appointed retreat.
